How we work

A defined service scope, written priorities and clear follow-through help turn insurance uncertainty into decisions you can explain.

  1. Understand the assignment

Identify your role, entities, locations, operating plan and immediate deadline. Agree on the client, authority, service scope, compensation, responsible contact and review milestones. An expected sale or closure belongs in the plan from the start.

  2. Gather the records that matter

Begin with the order, complete policies and endorsements, premium and finance records, claims history and current operations. Coordinate records and servicing authority with incumbent providers, insurers and counsel. Arrange a suitable exchange for sensitive documents.

    • Claims history, notices, and open matters
    • Business and property schedules, values, and operations

    • Sale, transition, or wind-down timelines
    • The parties who received notice of the appointment or related proceedings, where relevant to policy terms and reporting obligations

  3. Map responsibilities and coverage

Match exposures to policies, insured parties and capacities. Identify urgent notices, missing documents, coverage questions, avoidable costs and conflicts. Separate confirmed facts from questions requiring insurer, counsel or specialist input.

  4. Coordinate the response

Compare keeping, amending or replacing coverage, including the cost and continuity consequences. Bring the facts to licensed producers, insurers, sureties and relevant specialists. Document decisions, required approvals and unresolved issues. Coverage takes effect only under an authorized binder or policy.

  5. Revisit the plan

Revisit coverage when occupancy, staffing, services, payment systems, control or the exit timetable changes. Track agreed follow-up through sale or closure, including reporting and discovery periods, tail elections, premium audits, potential refunds and record custody.

Deliverables

A practical record of the work.

The agreed review is organized into a policy and exposure inventory, a prioritized action list, a cost-and-options comparison and a deadline register with responsible contacts. Recommendations explain what to retain, change or investigate, and why.

The objective is clear accountability: what has been addressed, what remains open and who owns the next step.

Service roles

Know what you are engaging us to do.

Policy review

Organize the existing program, identify unanswered questions and explain the implications of the available choices.

Placement coordination

Prepare the underwriting information, approach appropriate markets through licensed participants and compare the available terms. Record why coverage is retained or changed.

Claims coordination

Help identify reporting contacts and requirements, organize insurance records and coordinate with the insurer, adjuster and counsel within the agreed scope. Coverage determinations and disputed legal issues remain with the appropriate insurer and legal advisers.

Review at the next material change

Agree on checkpoints around renewal, vacancy, changed operations, sale and closure. At each checkpoint, confirm what changed, what remains open and whether another market comparison is warranted.

A request to Fiduciary Bridge does not itself give notice to an insurer or surety. Urgent reporting deadlines require action through the applicable channel.

Our approach

What fiduciaries can expect from us

Bring the actual assignment to the market.

We explain the fiduciary’s authority, operating plan, oversight and controls to underwriters. A documented submission supports a direct discussion of the risks, available terms and information still needed.

The assignment sets the recommendation.

Our recommendations follow the assignment’s needs, cash constraints and expected exit. Service commitments are agreed around the assignment and its milestones.

Recommendations should not depend on preserving a renewal stream or replacing a policy simply to generate a new commission. Compensation may include insurance commissions and separately agreed fees where permitted. We disclose the applicable arrangements and review relevant conflicts.
