Vacant and Distressed Property
Coverage review begins with the building as it stands today.
Explore property coverage →Review the insurance across the entire operation: the property, people, business activities and fiduciary roles. We identify gaps, test whether existing coverage still fits and compare available options with the assignment’s cash needs.
Coverage review begins with the building as it stands today.
Explore property coverage →The operating plan determines the insurance questions.
Explore operating business coverage →Your professional role and the business’s management risks need separate attention.
Explore liability coverage →One event can cross several insuring agreements.
Explore cyber, crime and fidelity →The bond obligation and its cash requirement come first.
Explore court and fiduciary bonds →Plan assets and plan duties require their own review.
Explore benefit plan risk →The coverage decision belongs before the sale or closure.
Explore tail coverage →Insurance commitments affect the case’s available cash.
Explore policy and program review →Start with the insured person or entity, the capacity in which you will act and the policy’s covered services. Review the full form and endorsements. The appointment order and a professional credential do not, by themselves, establish insurance coverage.
No. Review the bond’s obligation, beneficiary and indemnity terms separately from liability, cyber and crime insurance. A bankruptcy trustee’s statutory bond concerns faithful performance of official duties. Whether a particular loss falls within a bond or policy requires its actual terms and the facts.
The review may support keeping, amending or replacing coverage. First identify urgent notices, cancellation risks, insured-status questions and continuity requirements. A change of adviser does not itself resolve those issues.
At agreed review dates and before material changes such as vacancy, resumed operations, a management change, a significant asset sale or closure. A renewal date is one checkpoint within the assignment. See how we work →
These are review prompts, not conclusions about a policy we have not examined.
